Plot Synopsis

[edit | edit source]The Unbreakable Boy, based on a true story and the novel The Unbreakable Boy, was announced by the Erwin Brothers on November 12, 2020. Jon and Andrew Erwin announced the start of casting that month, revealing their new film followed the true story of Iwoa-native Austin LeRette. Austin story of being diagnosed with a rare bone disease and autism was chronicled by his father in the self-titled book. It would be produced under the Erwin Brothers Kingdom Story production company with production slated to begin in November in Oklahoma City.
