Elf is a Christmas comedy film from 2003, directed by Jon Favreau and penned by David Berenbaum. The film features Will Ferrell in the role of Buddy the Elf, a human who was raised by Santa's elves. Upon discovering his true origins, he travels to New York City to find his biological father.
