For when it came to dying in the line of duty ... he believed that it was his duty to run away to bring the vital intelligence he possessed home. But few Rangers honor his ''"interpretation"'' of duty and has been regulated to escort duty ... in reality, punishment detail on a mission of little importance.

			But a dangerous new threat endangers the entire mission and once more places Martell with a choice. To run? Or to finally die as his oath as a Ranger entails?
