'''Last Breath''' is a survival thriller film directed by Alex Parkinson and written by Mitchell LaFortune, Parkinson, and David Brooks. It is a feature film remake of the 2019 documentary of the same name that Parkinson co-directed with Richard da Costa.

== Production ==
It was announced in May 2022 that Alex Parkinson was directing a narrative film remake of his 2019 documentary, with [[Woody Harrelson]], [[Simu Liu]] and [[Djimon Hounsou]] cast to star.

[[Principal photography]] began in Malta in May 2023 with plans to run through July with [[Finn Cole]] joining the cast.

In May 2024, [[Focus Features]] acquired the distribution rights to the film.
