==Plot== Eddie Mathews refuses to give up on his Hollywood dream — even if it kills him. And it just might. With a baby due any minute and the rent long overdue, Eddie’s only option is to move his family into the lion’s den: his mother-in-law Nancy’s house (Academy Award nominee Lorraine Bracco), where dreams go to die. Nancy’s sharp tongue, zero-filter insults, and live-in adult son — a washed-up hockey bro with a broken stick and a broken spirit — make every day feel like a penalty box from hell. By day, Eddie slings presidential bobbleheads over the phone. By night, he goes all-in on ''Killing Karens'' — a DIY, no-budget horror-comedy about a masked vigilante serving cold, hard karma to the world's most entitled complainers. Helping him along: his loyal best friend Joe, and his greatest (and weirdest) creation yet — ''The Menacer'', a cloaked, imaginary hype man who’s half Batman, half maniac. Running out of cash and sanity, Eddie sells off everything he loves — rare Dracula posters, the family van, even his own blood — just to keep filming. When fading Hollywood “mogul” Karen Brazo Fuerte (Emmy winner Leah Remini) sniffs out the project and dangles a shot at real fame, Eddie is one signature kill scene away from making his dreams come true... or watching them spectacularly explode. With time running out, his marriage on thin ice, and Nancy sharpening her knives, Eddie has one last chance to answer the question: '''Is chasing your dream worth losing everything — or is it the only thing worth doing?''' ''Relentlessly funny, painfully real, and packed with heart, THE MOTHER, THE MENACER, AND ME is the outrageous underdog story we all need right now.''
